從華語起步，走向更寬廣的專業選擇

創新華語文教學學士學位學程（ITCSL）是臺灣首創、專為國際學生設計的四年制華語文學士學位課程。只要具備高中學歷及 CEFR A2 以上華語能力，即可從扎實的語言訓練開始，一步步建立以華語學習專業知識、進入職場與發展未來的能力。

不同於一般以單一專業為核心的大學課程，ITCSL 將「華語能力」作為大學學習的基礎。大一、大二每週安排至少 16 小時的密集華語課程，全面提升聽、說、讀、寫能力，並加強學術學習、職場溝通與實務應用所需的華語能力。隨著華語程度提升，學生將逐步具備以中文修習大學專業課程的能力，讓語言不只是學習的目標，更成為通往不同專業領域的工具。

進入大三、大四後，學生除了修習華語文教學相關專業課程，更可以依照自己的興趣與職涯方向，選修國立臺北大學各院系的中文授課課程。商務企管、觀光旅遊、文化交流及其他專業領域，都可以成為個人的第二專長；符合相關規定者，更可進一步完成輔系或雙主修。跨院系所修習的課程，也可依本學程修業規定採計為畢業學分，讓每一門課都能成為個人學習藍圖的一部分。

ITCSL 希望培養的，不只是「會說中文」的國際學生，而是能夠「用中文學習專業、發展專業」的人才。四年的學習從語言扎根，逐步延伸至專業探索與跨領域學習，讓學生同時累積華語能力、專業知識與跨文化經驗，為未來在臺灣及其他華語地區升學、就業與職涯發展建立更完整的競爭力。

The Innovative Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (ITCSL) Program is Taiwan’s first four-year bachelor’s degree program of its kind, designed specifically for international students. Students with a high school diploma and Chinese proficiency at CEFR A2 or above can begin with a strong language foundation and gradually develop the Chinese skills needed for academic study, professional communication, and future career opportunities.

Unlike conventional degree programs built around a single academic field, ITCSL places Chinese proficiency at the foundation of university learning. During the first two years, students receive at least 16 hours of intensive Chinese instruction per week, strengthening their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while developing the language abilities needed for academic study, workplace communication, and practical use. As their Chinese proficiency improves, students become increasingly prepared to take university-level courses taught in Chinese. Chinese is therefore not only a subject to study—it becomes a tool for exploring new fields of knowledge.

In the third and fourth years, students continue with specialized courses in Chinese language teaching while gaining greater freedom to explore their own academic interests and career goals. They may take Chinese-taught courses across National Taipei University (NTPU) and develop a second area of expertise in fields such as business and management, tourism, cultural exchange, and many others. Students who meet the relevant requirements may also pursue a minor or double major. Credits earned from courses across the university may count toward ITCSL graduation requirements, allowing students to build a degree pathway that reflects their individual goals.

ITCSL aims to develop international students who can do more than communicate in Chinese—they can use Chinese to learn, specialize, and grow professionally. Over four years, students progress from intensive language training to academic exploration and interdisciplinary learning, building Chinese proficiency, professional knowledge, and cross-cultural experience that can prepare them for further study and career opportunities in Taiwan and other Chinese-speaking communities.
